I have been doing the Smiling Mind program for two years with many of the same children and they absolutely love it. Twelve schools, 1853 students and 104 teachers took part in our research. The Smiling Mind Schools Program is an evidence-based approach to support student mental health and wellbeing. Smiling Mind is an evidence-based mindfulness program for educators and health professionals to use with children in primary and secondary schools to improve their social and emotional skills, take a proactive approach to mental health and build resilience. Students more at-risk of emotional difficulties also reported: The results indicated that our program can assist with students' sleep, wellbeing, managing emotions, concentration and classroom school behaviour. Subjects were asked questions that pinpointed their emotional state before and after smiling, and they overwhelmingly scored happier after smiling.

This document summarises an extensive review exploring the impact of mindfulness in the school learning environment and an analysis of the contextual school use of mindfulness. I feel too guilty to practice gratitude.
