Am I crazy or is this a re-vamp of an older recipe of yours?

I think of these banana egg oatmeal pancakes as healthy for several reasons. I was wondering about adding some kind of leavening agent. I am teaching a healthy cooking class in this is going to be my first recipe! Does anyone know of a trick/hack to ripen bananas quickly? I made this but for some reason my pancakes fell apart – maybe because I used a thawed frozen banana? I haven’t tried a total pumpkin substitution, but I had one pretty small banana, so I added 2 Tablespoons of canned pumpkin to make up for the volume in the mashed banana. I can’t wait to try them! 1st time making these. I then added the banana, egg and pecans. THANK YOU! You can also zap the oatmeal in the microwave before adding it into the pancake batter, like in this Vegan Oatmeal Pancake recipe. I had the same problem as other people with my pancakes falling apart when I tried to flip them. Delicious!

Also, the pecans were such a good add, I’ll prob try different varieties when I run out of pecans. When I say these are flourless banana pancakes, I mean exactly that. Do you think it would be good to make these the night before, then warm them up in the morning? Easy to reheat in toaster oven for breakfast on the go. A great low carb breakfast. 2 tablespoons (42 g) pure maple syrup, at room temperature I had seen a similar recipe as part of a “breakfast bowl” and decided to just eat them in a bowl, not worried about the shape. I also didn’t  add any extra ingredients except I use gluten free oatmeal. I also added 1 tsp ground flax and 1 tsp pb2. The bottoms would get to dark before I could ever get the pancake to hold together on a spatula. I have been making these every Saturday and always look forward to them. I do not like egg but I couldn’t even taste it. Will definitely be trying it this weekend! No solid part of the things. My hubby loved them.
